At The View, we’re proud to offer great food, a friendly atmosphere, and some of the best views in Consett. Open to members and visitors alike, our bar and restaurant is the perfect spot for a post-round drink, a family Sunday lunch, or a celebration with friends. We’re proudly recognised by Restaurant Guru as the Best Club in both 2023 and 2024 for our area.
All of our catering is provided by Made by ME Catering, an experienced local team who bring restaurant-quality food to the heart of Consett Golf Club. From hearty breakfasts and light bites to full Sunday roasts and special event menus, they make sure every plate is fresh, delicious, and served with a smile.
We serve freshly prepared food from Wednesday to Sunday, 10am–3pm (until 4pm on Saturdays), making The View the ideal place to relax after your round or simply pop in for a bite to eat.
Alongside our main menu, you’ll always find a tempting range of homemade cakes and sweet treats, freshly baked and perfect with a specialty coffee or much needed cup of tea.
On Sundays, we’re proud to offer our much-loved Sunday Lunches from 12pm–3pm. With generous portions, traditional favourites, and all the trimmings, they’ve quickly become a highlight of the week for members and visitors alike.
